Painting the Wray Way
It's another great evening of food and art this Friday night at the Bossier Arts Council. For over sixty years Jerry Wray has been professional artist and at this upcoming Evening of Art you'll explore how she's made art and been an important part of the SB Land community.
It'll be a great start to your weekend with plenty of time after the event to make it across the river to the Red River Revel. As Trudeau points out on his blog, Jerry wouldn't want it any other way. The party starts at 5:30pm October 5, 2007 at the Bossier Arts Council, 630 Barksdale Blvd.

Fairfield Studios
One of the newest venues for WEACo's Citywide Gallery Program (CWG) is Fairfield Studios.
What Trudeau says about the venue "There's no clearer alternative to the bar and concert hall scene than the House Series at Fairfield Studios... Every nuance of the picking and singing of these well-traveled performers can be enjoyed... (and there are) like-minded people with whom to chat during the intermission."
Because of CWG patrons now enjoy live music while surrounded by the visual art of the most talented artists from across the region. It's one of the amazing benefits of WEACo membership -- having your work exposed to art enthusiasts and art collectors.
