After a short hiatus for summer we are proud to announce that we have received our nonprofit status. Thank you to all the supporters and hard workers that have been at our side during this journey.
WEACo strives to be the resource mecca for artists in the Louisiana region and surrounding areas. We offer information on shows, festivals, deadlines, and application process for events and venues in our area. We are looking forward to working with other local organizations to bring regional artists resources to increase exposure and profit through their artwork.
We are currently establishing a Fine Arts Market to the Louisiana Boardwalk. The first one will be September 19, 2009. Info for that can be found at www.weaco.org We have many group shows planned for this year and next. We promote individual artists events, and offer other perks to joining our organization.
